Notification of Accident, Dangerous Occurrence, Occupational Poisoning and Occupational Disease - Regulations-2004
Introduction:
Nadoopod under Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 Regulation-2004 requires all employers to maintain records and reports of all accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning and occupational diseases.. These information shall be entered in the respective forms such as JKKP6, JKKP7, JKKP9, JKKP10. JKKP8 is a register of all the data for the calendar year starting 1st January to 31st December and is required by the employer to be kept at the premises for a period 5years. The register must be submitted to the Department of Safety and Health by 31st January of the following year.

Chemical Hazards and Risk Assessment
Introduction:
Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 - Use and Standard of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health - Regulation 2000 (USECHH 2000) requires that an assessment of health risks arising from the use of chemicals hazardous to health at the place of work is mandatory and employers are not permitted to use any chemicals hazardous to the health of employees unless an assessment of all chemicals used in the workplace has been carried out to identify, evaluate and control any health risks.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Introduction:
Personal Protective Equipment is defined as all equipment which is intended to be worn or held by a person at work and which protects him/her against one or more risks to his/her safety and health. Employers have the basic duties concerning the provision and the use of personal protective equipment .The personal protective equipment must be properly assessed before use to ensure its suitability, maintained and stored properly, is provided with instructions and how to use it safely and finally it is used correctly by employees as per Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994( Act 514 ).

Safety and Health Committee
Introduction:
A safety and health committee will constitute where there are one hundred persons or less employed at a place of work shall not be less than two representatives each from the employees and the management in the committee, and where there are more than one hundred persons employed at the place of work, there shall be not less than four representatives each from the employees and the management. The Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 Regulations 1996 has made it compulsory that all orgaisations that meet the above criteria must have a Safety Health Committee.
